During the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics I was certain that Team Canada would win the Olympic Gold Medal in Men’s Hockey. Before they won, I created this 11x14 caricature of Team Canada’s winning Goalie “Roberto Luongo”.
A very limited print run (Only 30) was ever printed. Unsigned prints have been sold for $500. The only one Roberto Luongo personally Signed was the (One of a Kind) Artist Proof/Sample which was numbered 1/500.
The intended purpose, not for profit: Utilize the timing, excitement and achievement of the win to raise money for the charity of Luongo’s choice.
